Understanding the Foundations of Successful Mining Crucial to Resource Investor

The Life Cycle of a Gold Mine article series delves into the crucial business decisions that companies must make at each phase of the mining cycle in order to develop a profitable mine.

Vancouver, BC, 10 August, 2011 – The Life Cycle of a Gold Mine series educates investors about the distinct phases in successful mine development from finding and outlining a mineral reserve, through mine construction, mining, and post-mining reclamation. The focus of the series is on the operational and financial hurdles that exploration companies must overcome in order to develop a successful mine and maximize shareholder value. The series will be divided into separate articles each of which will center on a particular phase of a gold mine’s life cycle.

The first article of the series, “Staking the Claim” was published on July 18th and was followed by “Regional Exploration” on August 5th. Looking forward, the remaining parts of the series to be published include: The Exploration Phase: Geology and Speculation, Land Permitting and Construction, Mine Operation, and Post Mining Land Reclamation.
